Dr. Anna Drake is the University Innovation Alliance Fellow at the University of Central Florida, where she serves as Assistant Director of UCF’s Center for Higher Education Innovation in the Office of the President. As a scholar and leader, Anna aims to bridge research and practice to support innovation and policymaking that improve postsecondary access, attainment, and equity.
A graduate of Davidson College and former university fundraiser, Anna earned her Master’s in Organization Development at Queens University of Charlotte and completed her Ph.D. in Higher Education at the University of Texas at Austin, where she received the College of Education Dean’s Fellowship. Anna gained extensive policy and research experience working with the Texas Legislature, the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board, and UT-Austin’s Office of Strategy and Policy. She is passionate about promoting college affordability and social mobility through higher education.
