Alix Gitelman is Vice Provost for Undergraduate Education. She collaborates with the academic deans, the Faculty Senate, and other administrators to advance the university’s goals of offering high quality undergraduate programs onsite, online and in hybrid format; designing diverse, well-supported and affordable pathways to an OSU degree; creating more opportunities for student research and experiential learning; and delivering instruction using leading edge pedagogies and technologies. Alix co-leads the Undergraduate Student Success Initiative, and during the 2020-21 academic years she will also co-lead a task force to examine OSU's curriculum in the areas of diversity, equity, inclusion, and anti-racism. Alix holds a professorship in Statistics.
