Dan Larson serves as the Vice Provost for Student Affairs at Oregon State University. As vice provost, Dan provides senior strategic leadership and oversight of programs designed to provide an outstanding student experience and ensure student success, including co-curricular academic achievement and progress and student life programs and services. His oversight includes counseling and health services, recreational sports, diversity and cultural centers, student leadership and involvement programs, university housing and dining, the student union, career development, academic progress programs and international student services. He contributes to university leadership as a member of the Provost’s Office and the President’s University Cabinet. Prior to his current role as Vice Provost, Dan served as Interim Vice Provost for Student Affairs, the Associate Vice Provost and Interim Dean of Student Life, and Associate Vice Provost and Executive Director of University Housing and Dining Services. Dan lives in Corvallis, Oregon with his wife Malissa as empty nesters, with their son being a recent graduate from Oregon State University.
