Alex Aljets serves as the University Innovation Alliance Fellow at Oregon State University. She manages collaborative projects designed to improve educational outcomes for undergraduate students from all backgrounds.
Drawing from educational experiences with the Stanford d.school, IDEO.org, and others, Alex applies process improvement and human-centered design techniques in support of student success. She facilitates workshops and trains colleagues locally and nationally to redesign university processes, policies, and pathways around the needs of today’s college students.
Before joining the UIA, Alex served as an academic advisor and in national leadership within the health professions advising community. She earned a Master of Arts in Higher Education and Student Affairs from The Ohio State University and an Honors Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry & Biophysics from Oregon State University.
