Darcie A. Sprouse

Darcie Sprouse is the University Innovation Alliance Fellow at Iowa State University. As a former first generation and low-income student, Darcie is committed to supporting underserved students on their journey to and through higher education. She has over 14 years of experience in education including teaching, advising, and program coordination in K-12, higher education, and state government.

Darcie has provided leadership to TRIO and GEAR UP federal grant programs in Iowa and she is an advocate for college access and success programs that support first generation, low income, students with disabilities, and students of color. She is a proud Iowa State University alumna with a BS in Elementary Education and a MS in Adult Learning and Organizational Performance from Drake University.
