About the Position:


As the Fundraising Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in our fundraising efforts to support organizational goals. This dynamic position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can seamlessly manage multiple responsibilities.

Part-Time

This is a grant-funded position. Continuation is contingent on future grant funding.

Salary Range

$22.41 - $33.65 per hour

Essential Duties

  • Draft and proofread emails, memos, reports, and other documents as needed.
  • Organize and prepare materials for funder meetings, including agendas, presentations, and supporting documents.
  • Attend meetings, record minutes, and follow up on action items to ensure timely completion.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to develop comprehensive fundraising strategies aligned with organizational goals and priorities.
  • Identify new funding opportunities and cultivate relationships with potential donors, sponsors, and partners.
  • Research and identify grant opportunities from government agencies, foundations, and other funding sources.
  • Prepare grant proposals, applications, and reports in accordance with grant guidelines and deadlines.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing donors, providing regular updates on organizational activities and impact.
  • Acknowledge donations and provide timely and personalized stewardship to donors to ensure continued support.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of donors, gifts, and fundraising activities using a donor management system or CRM software.
  • Generate reports and analyze data to track fundraising progress and inform strategic decision-making.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a field appropriate to the area of assignment AND four years administrative/coordinate program experience;

Desired Qualifications

  • Evidence of a Bachelor's degree in business administration, nonprofit management, communications, or related field.
  • Three years experience in executive support, fundraising, or nonprofit administration AND four (4) years of directly related administrative experience; OR, Eight (8) years of directly related administrative experience: OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
  • Experience in organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Evidence of effective communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience in Google Workspace, Microsoft Office Suite, and experience with CRM software preferred.
  • Experience in working  independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Evidence in having a commitment to the organization's mission and values, with a passion for making a difference in higher education.
