In partnership with UIA campuses participating in our completion grant project, we've collected these insights (download above) and suggestions to help campuses administer emergency aid as the COVID-19 crisis continues this fall.
For the past 3 years, UIA campuses have been working together to distribute completion grants to over 4,000 low-income students across the country. When COVID-19 arose in spring 2020, UIA campuses leaned on what we've learned from our completion grants project to help develop processes for administering emergency aid. This live interview features insights and suggestions from UIA leaders from the University of Kansas, University of Central Florida, Iowa State University, and our completion grants project director based at Georgia State University. We've also prepared this overview of our learning and recommendations that we encourage you to share with your campus and colleagues.
