Erin Sweeten
Erin Sweeten manages the Learning Innovation Project, a grant-funded initiative to support faculty as they redesign gateway STEM courses to improve student outcomes and reduce equity gaps. In this role, she leads project implementation and facilitates a faculty community of practice for participating institutions.
Prior to joining UIA, Erin's career has included project management, writing, teaching, instructional design, and technical expertise in higher education, government, and nonprofit settings. Often, that work has included facilitating collaboration among people from organizations that differ significantly in culture and interests; she has seen firsthand the power of a positive shared goal and collective goodwill to generate meaningful working relationships and high-impact results. Erin is committed to collaborative work that leads to transformational change.
Erin earned an MA in the Writing Seminars at Johns Hopkins University and has served in the Peace Corps in Benin, West Africa.
