Nicole Wilson

UIA Fellow

Nicole Wilson is the University Innovation Alliance Fellow at Purdue University. She has dedicated ten years to advancing student success particularly among low-income and first-generation student populations.  Nicole's prior work experience span undergraduate admissions, academic advising, TRIO student support services, as well as diversity and inclusion initiatives. Her research agenda centers on low-income and first-generation college students' lived experiences within comprehensive college transition programs, as well as asset-based approaches for promoting student success. Nicole holds a B.S. from Ohio University, an M.Ed. in Student Personnel in Higher Education from the University of Florida, and is currently finishing her PhD in higher education at the University of Michigan.
