Nyasha Hamilton
Nyasha Hamilton is the University Innovation Alliance Project Fellow at Georgia State University. She has professional experience as a data analyst across various industries, including education, marketing, and finance. Nyasha has now focused her career on understanding and disseminating how higher education institutions can use data ethically and effectively to make data-informed decisions that support student success. Most recently, she worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Georgia’s Carl Vinson Institute of Government, analyzing data and developing dashboards. Nyasha has presented her work at the American Educational Research Association (AREA) and Association for Institutional Research (AIR) conferences.
Nyasha is excited to return to Georgia State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. She also holds a Master of Statistics from Louisiana State University and is currently a Ph.D. student at the University of Georgia’s Institute of Higher Education.
