Amanda Voight, Arizona State UIA Fellow

Amanda Voigt has over 10 years of experience in higher education, most recently at Arizona State where she developed, managed, and taught student success courses.  Previously, Amanda worked at the University of North Dakota and North Dakota State University in athletic administration, student-athlete academic support, and recruitment.  Amanda is passionate about helping students achieve their academic goals, whether in a one-on-one setting or by creating change across the institution through data-driven problem solving. 

Amanda is a proud alumna of the University of North Dakota where she earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Master of Public Administration.  Amanda has presented at conferences throughout the US and Canada motivational interviewing, mindfulness, cultural competence, and managing failure. Her presentation, “The Magic of Motivational Interviewing,” was recognized as best-in-region for NACADA: The Global Community for Academic Advising.
