Khadijah A. Jones
Khadijah A. Jones is the University Innovation Alliance Fellow at The Ohio State University. Khadijah started her professional career working in non-profit organizations, such as, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Columbus and Directions for Youth and Families, as an after-school and summer education coordinator, creating programs for K-12 students. She later transitioned to higher education at Ohio State, where she has served for 14 years. She started her work in higher education as the academic coordinator for Ohio State’s Office of Diversity and Inclusion’s TRIO Upward Bound Program. Khadijah has continued her service in higher education working in Undergraduate Admissions focusing on bridging gaps and removing barriers through the strategic outreach, recruitment, and enrollment of students who are underrepresented, first-generation, and limited-income students.
Khadijah is a first-generation college student and holds a B.A. in Sociology from Ohio State, an M.A. in Organizational and Communications Studies from Ohio University’s Scripps College of Communications and is currently finishing her EdD in Higher Education and Student Affairs at Ohio State.
