Bridgette Noonen

Bridgette Noonen serves as the Deputy Chief of Staff to the President at the University of New Mexico, where she is involved in advancing strategic initiatives and supporting executive leadership. Her expertise includes policy analysis, legislative affairs, and program development, contributing to the success of initiatives that improve educational access and community engagement. Prior to joining UNM, she served as Director of Academic Affairs at the New Mexico Higher Education Department, where she led the state’s efforts on common course numbering and general education reform. She is experienced in facilitating collaboration between stakeholders and managing complex projects that drive institutional success. She holds a Ph.D. in Molecular Cancer Biology from Duke University and a B.S. in Cell and Molecular Biology from the University of Michigan.
