Madeline Martínez
Dr. Madeline Martínez serves as Associate Director in the Center for Academic Excellence at North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University, where she leads strategic initiatives focused on centralized academic advising, student success, and retention. With expertise in scaling advising models and implementing data-informed interventions, she has played a key role in expanding services to support over 6,000 undergraduate students, contributing to measurable gains in student persistence.
Dr. Martínez’s work centers on designing equitable, student-centered systems that enhance the undergraduate experience from entry through completion. She collaborates across academic and administrative units to align advising, academic support, and student success technologies with institutional priorities. In addition to her administrative role, she serves as a part-time psychology instructor, bringing a student-centered and evidence-based approach to both
teaching and practice.
